We speak at companies, campuses and conferences, in the hall or on a screen, anywhere from a twenty-minute keynote to a session of two or three hours. Every talk gets built around your people rather than our slides.
The foundation everything else is built on, and the first thing we sacrifice. We make the case for putting it back where it belongs, and hand you ways to sleep better from tonight.
Mind mastery
Your mind can be your best friend or your worst enemy. We go into attention, habit and the biology underneath, so more of the day runs the way you want it to.
Meditation
Less about meditation, more the thing itself. We lead a guided meditation that our audiences find immensely relaxing and energising, and it is usually how a session ends.
Wellbeing
Sleep, food, movement and breath, the ordinary things that add up to an extraordinary life. We show you which ones are worth your attention and in what way.
Creating an Impact
The mark you leave on the people you work with. The conversations that shift things, and the steadiness that makes a room go quiet when you speak.
We have done this for twenty people and for several thousand.
On the road
The talks
Five we are asked for most
Every talk gets built around the room it is going into, so we ask what your people are up against before we decide what to say. Most of them end with a guided meditation, and there is always an interactive Q&A.
Happiness Advantage
We open with the question most talks skip: why bother being happy at all. From there we look at what happiness does for your health and your work, and share a few things that help you stay more or less happy when life turns hard. There is enough audience interaction that nobody uses their phone. The point is the advantage in the title: happiness you can hold on to when the day is not going your way.
Sleep Your Way to Success
We start with why sleep matters more than almost anything else you do for your body. Then the good part, what solid sleep gives you, and the scary part, what comes apart when you go without. We cover how much you actually need and why good sleep sits underneath every kind of success, then finish with a few ways to get a better sleep experience from tonight.
The Biology of Success
For real success you need to have your body and mind on your side. This talk shows how your own physiology can be your best friend when you want to invite more success into your life. We delve into the importance and mechanics of sleep, the breath, dopamine, the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, and the vagus nerve, including how to trigger it to improve your vagal tone, so that your body mind system recovers from stress faster and gives you a steadier base to build on.
Powerful Conversations
Most conversations pass through us and leave nothing behind. Every so often one lands differently and changes how you see things from then on. This talk is about steering more of your conversations towards that kind, the ones that shift something for you and for the person or people across from you. When we have longer, we also get into polyvagal theory and put it to work on the conversations themselves.
Your Journey to Wellbeing
Everything the two of us have picked up over the years, gathered into a single talk. Sleep, food, exercise, meditation, breathing and the vagus nerve, shaped to the time we have, whether that is twenty minutes or a full three hours. The longer we have, the more of it you get to try for yourself.
